Creatively Experience Music that Inspires You.
What does it mean to be creative and why should it serve any meaning to us? Even further, what can be done to elicit one’s inner creative genius?
Utilizing editorial design and the audio streaming service Spotify, I have created a resource for users to creatively experience music that inspires them.
People Music Collective is a “project” that demands the artist and the reader to think critically about how music and art speak to them- coexisting and in their own fortes.
The Zine.
The People Music Collective zine was comprised of screenprinting, illustration, collage, photography, poetry, and interactive design. These elements come together in a mixed-media, hand-bound zine, depicting the illustrative nature of music, emotion, and human interactions.
Through this exploration, the viewer is intended to practice imaginative self-expression as they listen to the music and interact with the art on each page.
The Process Book.
The breakdown of the creative, research, and design process of the project. The how, what, and why.
The Process Book involves a deep dive into the research behind the problem definition, including two interviews with Professor and Author, Maria Elena Buszek, and Art Director and Graphic Designer, Brandon Gratton.
